Covenant Academy Parents (CAP) & Grandparents Alongside Parents (GAP) are a fellowship of parent and grandparent volunteers seeking to foster community between students, staff, and parents through living out the grace of the gospel in our covenantal relationships. Our goals are to promote and to support the mission and vision of our school, as well as to assist the administration and teachers with grade-level and community-wide events. Some of our committees and opportunities include
- Faculty and Staff Appreciation: Care for teachers and staff by helping bless faculty during appreciation activities, donating or serving during Teacher Appreciation Week, Christmas, and end-of-year luncheons.
- Events: Help as needed with events throughout the school year, including Grandparents Day, Pastries with Parents, Chili Cookoff, Night of Paideia, and Christmas Programs.
- CA Ambassadors: Help welcome new families to the Covenant community and help reach out to existing families in time of need.
- Spirit Shop: Volunteer to help run the spirit shop during events.
- Prayer: Covenant Academy Praying Moms (CAMP) meet every Friday morning.
- Prayer Covers: This special, one-of-a-kind ministry knits prayer blankets for each CA Senior. Yarn donations and knitting are appreciated.
